PHCP Practitioners

A Student Practitioner is not yet fully certified by the PHCP. With the support of their mentors and colleagues, they can do an excellent job caring for your horse’s hoof needs, as they complete their training. As always, when choosing any hoof care professional, it is best to ask for recommendations.

Profile

I’ve been trimming since 2009. I started with the geriatric ward of horses and moved my way up to transitioning riding horses, founders rehabs along with other pathologies. I’ve worked with the local vets and a lameness specialist in Ione, along with the wonderful Mentors from this group. Nutrition and boot fit are another area of interest and benefit to the whole horse. I’m a dealer for California Trace Minerals and EasyCare hoof protection. I also do the occasional hoof cast, which is another tool for the transition period and rehab process.

I am Currently taking new clients

I am best reached by email, phone or send me a text! A detailed message on my phone is the best way to reach me. I check my messages daily and return calls, texts or emails by the end of the day.

Mentorships: For students looking to do a mentorship, I charge $150 per day. I enjoy teaching every level of student from beginners on up. I have access to plenty of horses from maintenance trims to pathologies.  Give me a call and we can discuss the details.
