A Student Practitioner is not yet fully certified by the PHCP. With the support of their mentors and colleagues, they can do an excellent job caring for your horse’s hoof needs, as they complete their training. As always, when choosing any hoof care professional, it is best to ask for recommendations.

I have been a natural hoof care practitioner since 2012 after working with Ida Hammer for a year and I completed her Whole Horse Hoof Care Certification program. I helped her trim her clients’ horses and teach her hoof care classes. I have also mentored with several AHA members including Jeanne Wright and Erik Knapp. So far, I have completed mentorships with Paige Poss and Jeannean Mercuri for PHCP. I am really enjoying the certification process for PHCP and I look forward to completing it. I attend hoof care clinics and summits whenever possible to further by education, I will always be a student of the horse!
I have experience in trimming for rehabilitation, performance in many disciplines and pleasure riding. I am an Easycare dealer and I really enjoy helping my clients reach their riding goals through the use of hoof boots. I use glue-on boots, easy shoes and equicast when necessary. I also enjoy helping owners tailor their horse keeping practices to give them the best shot at a successful barefoot lifestyle.
I am currently taking new clients for weekend and week night appointments while my daughter is small. I plan to increase my availability over time and look forward to serving your hoof care needs! An email or a text message is the best way to reach me but I do return phone calls within 48 hours.
